Ban Ki-moon secured a second term as secretary general of the United Nations after the 192 members of the UN General Assembly unanimously re-elected him Tuesday.
The UN Security Council drafted the resolution for the re-election of the former Korean foreign minister on Friday, with the support of all five veto-wielding countries: the United States, China, France, Britain and Russia. Ban won unchallenged.
