President Lee Myung-bak had a meeting with Luis Alberto Moreno, president of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to discuss cooperation between Korea and the IDB.
At a meeting held in Cheong Wa Dae in Seoul on October 21, President Lee and President Moreno exchanged opinions on economic development in Latin America.
President Lee highly valued the IDB’s contribution to economic cooperation between Korea and the Latin America region. He stressed the possibility that Korea and the Americas can build a win-win partnership through mutually beneficial economic and industrial structures of the two sides.
